Health Care Exchanges

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act requires that each state set up an online marketplace - referred to as a health insurance exchange - where residents can compare plans and choose one that best fits their situation.

By using the exchange, you are eligible for a subsidy or rebate if you earn less than four times the federal poverty level.

This page lists the exchange website for each state.

It also shows whether the state has accepted medicaid expansion.
