An act to provide for a 6-month delay in the effective date of a rule of the Department of Labor relating to income thresholds for determining overtime pay for executive, administrative, professional, outside sales, and computer employees.
This bill would delay overtime protection for 6 months
In May, 2016 the Department of Labor (DOL) issued a rule that will extend overtime protection to an additional 4 million workers starting in December.
This bill would delay that pay increase until June, 2017.
